概要 The mechanisms involved in visual object recognition from non-canonical viewpoints were investigated using fMRI. We found that the fusiform gyrus, posterior part of the inferior temporal cortex, and the posterior parietal cortex activated more strongly in the non-canonical viewing condition compared with the canonical viewing condition. The results may indicate that recognition from non-canonical viewpoints is supported by using functional properties of the object.（共同研究につき、本人担当部分抽出不可能）
