概要 This study develops a dynamic framework to explain why companies behave in socially responsible ways. Research on the predictors of corporate social responsibility (CSR) reveals that companies behave in socially responsible ways because of pressure from stakeholders-shareholders, suppliers, buyers, consumers, the local community, social activist groups, etc. Companies act in order to avoid potential loss of revenue and reputation. However, the existing literature overlooks the dynamics among stakeholders and companies. We consider the company's adoption of socially responsible behavior as a dynamic process, involving interaction between stakeholders and companies.
