概要 Announcing the "Workshop Movement," a British alternative media movement from the late 1970s to the 1980s. In particular, the case of Birmingham (Birmingham Film and Video Workshop) is introduced and considered its activities from the perspective of media literacy. It is also discussed the relationship with the Center for Contemporary Cultural Studies, University of Birmingham, Channel 4 and the British Film Institute, and the Foundation for regional artistic activities.
