 受験生・学生へのメッセージ
Literature allows us to escape and to imagine; stories provide an important opportunity to learn and to communicate. We can become more creative, discerning thinkers and dreamers by reading, and literature can inspire us to take action. It also provides a valuable perspective of our swiftly changing world. Literature can describe the past, and present, and even the future as we hope or fear it might be. Every day I teach, I hope that I can help students to be inspired by the books we read, and to discuss and write about them, using their English skills to become better critical thinkers and communicators.
