学問のきっかけ

大学生の頃に読んだ『ことばと文化』（鈴木孝夫著）の中で、同じ事象（虹・雪など）でも、その人が属する文化によって切り取り方が同じではないと知り、言葉と文化の関わりがもつ奥深さを少しでも探究できたらと思ったことが、文化による言葉の使われ方や会話の進め方を研究しようと思ったきっかけである。
