概要 | Japanese high school students' perceptions of different teachers, and the teacher effect on students' self-reported intrinsic and extrinsic interest as well as their level of classroom anxiety are investigated and reported in this article.The findings show that although all of the students had positive levels of extrinsic interest for both types of teachers, a majority of students expressed higher intrinsic interest for foreign teachers of English. Female students reported being more intrinsically interested in FTEs than male students. |
