概要 It's a linguits' undoubtful belief that if we have no common language, we cannot communicate with each other. It's also beileved that since we have a common language, we can communicate with each other. However, the author insists that they're just theoretical suppositions. In his view, a bare fact is the contraposition of those propositions; If we cannot communicate with each other, we don't have a common language. Namely, the authore insists that a new theory of communication should be based on the principle on the empirical ground.
