概要 This presentation describes the development and implementation of an advanced-level Intensive English Program aimed at preparing Japanese university students for study at English-Medium Institutions in the United States and other countries. Particular features of the program include paired courses that share a content focus but emphasize different skills, allowing students to cover the assigned content in more depth, and creating opportunities for the reinforcement of student learning, as well as increased faculty collaboration. The presentation also explains the process for the recruitment and professional development of program faculty.
