概要 | In a study on red bean paste preferences in female university students. I found that students preferred smooth red bean paste to coarse red bean paste.I then performed study on adzuki bean skins remaining in the mouth after eating smooth and coarse red bean paste .I found that the volume of skin remaining in the mouth after eating smooth red bean paste was low (mean of 0.3%), and that nearly all was removed by simply rinsing the mouth with water. In the case of coarse red bean paste, many skins (mean of 35%) were collected by mouth rinsing after eating. This indicates that adzuki bean skins remain in the mouth after natural swallowing. Subject C also collected many adzuki bean skins when brushing her teeth after eating coarse red bean paste[Added for clarity. Please confirm.]. This subject had said that the skins became stuck in her teeth, causing discomfort. |
